Ambassadorial-level Meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter - 2022 ECOSOC's HLPF

The Ambassadors of the Member States to the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter met on 13 July 2022, at the Headquarters of United Nations, on the margins of the High-Level Political Forum of the ECOSOC. They seized the opportunity to make an assessment of the implementation of the 2022 Programme of Work, while discussing other important issues of common interest and concern. The meeting was attended, among others, by H.E. Mr. Sergey Vershinin, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, and H.E. Mr. Rubén Darío Molina, Viceminister for Multilateral Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
