Ambassadorial-level Meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter - PoW 2022

The Ambassadors of the Member States to the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter met on 16 December 2021, at the Headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the United Nations, in order to discuss the 2022 Programme of Work, as well as other issues of common interest and concern. They also seized the opportunity to make an assessment of the work carried throughout 2021 and that to be carried out during the upcoming year, while determined to redoubling their joint efforts to ensure the preservation, promotion and defense of both the prevalence and validity of the Charter of the United Nations, both in its letter and spirit.
